On Friday, we presented our book talk poster to Mrs. Vallely to hang in the library! When students visit the library, they can use an ipad to scan the QR code to hear about the books we love. We hope it will help others in making book choices if they need help.

Making 10
Given the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, how many ways can you make 10?
Look what the students came up with:
If we had a bigger whiteboard, there would have been many more!

We Love GoNoodle!
I'd be surprised if your child hasn't mentioned GoNoodle at home. We take GoNoodle breaks almost every day! It helps us move our bodies, follow directions, enjoy music, and just have fun!
Here is a link if you haven't checked it out: https://app.gonoodle.com/s/mcaron-1
Also...look for the GoNoodle At Home Winter Challenge to go home in this week's tote. It's a fun, engaging way to keep moving this winter is you are stuck indoors!
Here we are moving to The Holiday Dance:

It's been a while...
We have been busy in the classroom, but it just hasn't made it to the blog! Before Thanksgiving, we talked about the Pilgrims and the Wampanoag Indians. We learned about how each lived by seeing their houses, clothing, and food. This helped us compare and contrast how we live today with the past. The students created a game using a map of the Pilgrims' journey from England to Massachusetts. Hopefully they shared it with you!
